MCP Connection Instructions

This MCP provides provider-specific instructions to create a project Memory Bank via agent tooling. Follow the three steps in order.

Choose provider and setup mode

Pick the client you use. Link opens Cursor app install directly, CLI uses terminal command, and Cursor app/Config file is manual setup.

Install MCP connection

Open this deep link to install the MCP server in Cursor with URL and headers pre-filled.

If your browser blocks cursor:// links, use CLI setup mode instead.

Run command in agent

After MCP installation, start the agent. If the agent is already open, restart or reopen it first, then run this command.

Reconnect if MCP is not detected

If MCP is missing in Cursor after link install, reinstall and reload.

  1. Open the install link again and confirm install/update for memory-bank.
  2. Restart Cursor/agent session.
  3. Run "Create Memory Bank via mcp" in the agent to verify MCP is connected.
